Eliza E. Sanders, Age 86, Succumbs Mrs. Eliza Ellen Sanders, 86, a resident of Crawfordsville since 1950, died at 5 a.m. Wednesday in the home of a son, Floyd (Joe) Sanders, 811 Grace Ave. She had been in failing health four years. Born Sept. 20, 1872, in Douglas County, Ill., Mrs. Sanders was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. David Wells. She married Levi Sanders Dec. 18, 1895. Mrs. Sanders was a member of the Rensselaer Methodist Church. Survivors, in addition to the son at whose home she died, are the husband; two daughters, Mrs. Herman Haas of Fond du Lac, Wis., and Mrs. Goldie Vandosall of Henderson, Ky., and two brothers, John Wells of Leroy, Ind., and Ray Wells of Newman, Ill. Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. Friday at the Jackson Funeral Home in Rensselaer, with interment in Weston Cemetery there. Rev. Earl Moore of Lafayette will officiate. Friends may call at the McCloud Funeral Home here from 2 p.m. Thursday until noon Friday. - kbz
